Tasks
- Coordinate access and use of computer networks
- Install software and web server hardware and software
- Load printer with paper and forms
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframes, and workstations
- Monitor system and network performance
- Troubleshoot and upgrade web server hardware/software
- Evaluate and install hardware and software
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Implement security procedures
- Perform routine startup, shutdown, and maintain control records
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery
- Set up LANs and Internet connections
- Optimize server performance and monitor network traffic
- Backup and recover web servers
- Manage network access
