Join our client’s team as a Network Solutions Architect! (REMOTE)

You will oversee the operation and maintenance of network components in a dynamic multi-vendor environment, focusing on problem analysis, software configuration, and hardware replacement, all while maintaining professionalism and data security.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement efficient computer networks, including connections and cabling.
• Diagnose system issues, troubleshoot network bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and resolve issues within LAN infrastructure, from minor glitches to major bugs.
• Configure and test software, perform hardware repairs, and conduct maintenance.
• Evaluate network performance and seek optimization opportunities.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and instructions to team members.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure quality and expertise.

Technical Proficiency:

• 5 to 7 years of senior-level technical support, system administration, or similar client-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in cybersecurity incident response, containment, and remediation.
• Skills in system, network, and application rebuilding and restoration.
• Familiarity with VMWare ESX / Hyper-V, Active Directory design and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Windows environments, troubleshooting Windows Services and Workstations, diagnosing low-level OS and network issues.
• Experience with diverse hardware platforms, including NAS, SAN, servers, and networking devices.
• Strong communication skills for customer issue resolution and support.
• Solid networking background, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP), DHCP, DNS, VPN, IPV4, and IPV6.
• Experience with network switching (L2 and L3), VLANs, port security.
• Knowledge of enterprise wireless solutions (Cisco, Aruba, FortiNet).
• Experience with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, FTD, CheckPoint, FortiNet PaloAlto, Cisco Meraki.
• Skills in network traffic analysis and capture.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills for independent and team work.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a network technician or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi technologies.
• TIL version 3 Foundation or Practitioner Certification.
• Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent in IT.
• Vendor certifications like ACMA/ACMP, ACDA/ACDP preferred.
• BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in solution design and technical infrastructure implementation.
• Ability to produce technical support documentation.
• Experience in technical build coordination across domains.
• Skilled in translating requirements into infrastructure specifications.
• Expertise in security solutions, including access management, network security, email protection, endpoint security.
• Knowledge of data center environments, private cloud, SDWAN, routing, switching, firewalls, Citrix ADC, VPN.
• Excellent communication skills, with talent for technical writing.
