Job summary

Sharp Brains Limited is actively seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Network Architect to join our global network of field engineers on a Dispatch-Based Freelance Contract. You will design and implement scalable network solutions, support enterprise networking, security, and data center projects on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• Hands-on with F5 Load Balancers.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, NAT, and VRF.
• Data center technologies: VPC, VDC, FCoE, virtualization.
• Layer 2: Switching, VLANs, STP.
• Layer 3: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS.
• Wireless network design and configuration.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable network solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Implement and support enterprise network infrastructure, security, and connectivity solutions.
• Perform network assessments, architecture reviews, and provide strategic design recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Deploy and maintain network security technologies and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, BOMs, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Support operational escalations and ensure network performance, availability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network architecture and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable network solutions based on business and technical requirements.
