Job summary

Executive Integrity is seeking a Network Engineer in Vancouver, Canada (remote considered within Canada) to join a fast-scaling global maritime connectivity provider as its first dedicated engineer in the region.

You will test hardware/software, diagnose complex network issues, and help build a multi-orbit, full-stack managed offering from scratch, with autonomy and a clear growth path in North America.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate new hardware/software before release; lead system integration for interoperability
• Diagnose and resolve network/system issues across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN; Linux/Windows administration
• Research connectivity tech and recommend improvements to the business
• Collaborate across engineering, IT and operations to scope and deliver end-to-end projects
• Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders as the NA function grows

The Opportunity

A fast-scaling global maritime connectivity provider is hiring its first dedicated Network Engineer in Canada. Having become one of the earliest resellers of next-generation low-Earth-orbit satellite connectivity in its sector, and now moving from single-network provision into a genuine multi-orbit, full-stack managed offering, the business needs someone on the ground in North America to help build that capability from scratch.

The Impact You Will Have

• Test and validate new hardware and software before it reaches customers, and lead the system integration work that keeps everything interoperable


• Diagnose and resolve network and system issues at the root, working across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN as well as Linux/Windows systems administration


• Research emerging connectivity technologies and bring recommendations for continuous improvement back into the business


• Collaborate across engineering, IT and operations to scope and deliver projects end to end


• Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders as the North American function grows
