A large financial services company is currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their growing team. The role involves managing and designing the enterprise network that operates globally. Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting architects with implementations
2. Guiding team members on network technologies
3. Driving enhancements to networks
4. Modernising infrastructure
5. Providing Level 3 network technical support
6. Implementing routing, switching, and firewalls
7. Integrating switches, routers, wireless controllers, SDN, load balancers, NAC servers, and cloud infrastructure
8. Participating in on-call rotation support
9. Ensuring network security

Candidates suitable for this Senior Network Engineer role should have:

1. Experience in designing and implementing networks in large user environments
2. A strong Cisco background (preferably CCNP/CCIE)
3. Knowledge of Layer 2 LAN technologies (VLANs, VTP, STP)
4. Understanding of high availability technologies (VPC, SVL, HSRP)
