Job summary

VDart Inc. seeks a Network Deploy Engineer for a hybrid-remote contract position in Scarborough, ON. The candidate should bring 8-10 years of IT experience with at least 8 years in networking, and strong English communication to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include LAN/WAN, DC technologies, MPLS, SD-WAN, and ACI exposure, plus migration work for routers, switches, and load balancers. Familiarity with Cisco Works and ITNCM is desired.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years IT experience with at least 8 years in networking.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Hands-on with LAN/WAN, data center technologies routing, switching, MPLS.
• Experience in SDWAN and ACI environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee router/switch/load balancer migration activities.
• Deep knowledge of Layer 2 technologies: STP, VLANs, VTP, UDLD, VDC, CDP.
• Manage incidents and changes using ServiceNow.
• Support switch refresh projects and network upgrade activities.

Job Description

8-10 years of IT industry experience with at-least 8 years in networking

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

Experience on LAN/WAN, DC Technologies Routing, Switching, Network Load balancers and MPLS

Experience in 7K & 9K code upgrades and switch refresh projects

SDWAN & ACI experience

Good experience in using Cisco Works, ITNCM etc.

Has experience in Router/Switch/Load balancer migration activities.

Strong Knowledge of Layer 2 technologies, including Spanning Tree, VLANs, VTP, UDLD, VDC and CDP

Working knowledge with Ticketing tools like Service-Now
