Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in enterprise/data center network engineering.
• Hands-on Nexus 9000 in large-scale data centers.
• Strong Layer 2/3 routing and switching expertise.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP and TCP/IP.
• VXLAN/Leaf-Spine architectures and MV/Net segmentation.
• Familiar with VPC, STP, 802.1Q, multilayer switching.
• NX-OS and IOS family (IOS-XE/IOS-XR).
• Solid network security concepts and multi-tier architectures.
• Ability to produce HLD/LLD, Visio diagrams, BoMs and migration plans.
• Proven troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale data center networks.
• Develop architectures, topologies, BoMs, and migration plans.
• Collaborate with Computing, Security, Applications, and Project teams.
• Maintain network diagrams, standards, and templates.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex issues/outages.
• Mentor team members and enable knowledge transfer.
• Support planned weekend/after-hours changes when required.

The candidate will work closely with Enterprise Computing, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• 5-7+ years of experience in enterprise/data center network engineering
