Job summary

Digital Extremes is seeking a Network and Security Technician to join our IT team in London, Ontario. This onsite role focuses on maintaining connectivity and security across high-availability services for millions of players.

You will resolve tickets, monitor security platforms, and provide guidance to staff while maintaining a strong on-site presence at the studio. The position requires 2 years of relevant experience and familiarity with VPNs and 2FA.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of core network and security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Familiarity with 2FA and network/security monitoring platforms.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive support for internal stakeholders regarding connectivity and security concerns.
• Address and resolve incoming tickets pertaining to network performance and security systems.
• Deliver technical guidance to staff for troubleshooting network-related obstacles.
• Manage user accounts on a variety of network and security platforms: 2FA, remote access, wireless, voip, etc.
• Engage in active monitoring of network and security platforms to uphold the integrity of our high-availability services.
• Maintain a consistent onsite presence at our studio location.
• Demonstrate superior interpersonal communication and the capacity to manage diverse priorities in a rapid-deployment setting.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of how core network and security protocols function (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Familiarity with critical security systems, including Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Network and Security Monitoring platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Completion of a program in network/systems administration is preferred.

Salary Range: $55,000- $65,000 CAD
