Job summary

City of Surrey is seeking a Network Analyst 2 to design, install, test, monitor, maintain and operate critical technology and networks including wireless and VoIP. You will ensure LAN/WAN/wireless/VoIP/cloud operations, work with vendors, and support timely problem resolution in Surrey, Canada.

Role requires a degree in a related field and 2 years of related experience, with SIP QoS expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have completed a degree in a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Two years of related experience or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with SIP and QoS in relation to VoIP implementations.
  • Experience with teleconference and collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor networks to provide stable, dependable services across multiple platforms.
  • Plan capacity and configure/ troubleshoot networks.
  • Perform corrective actions and liaise with management to meet client needs.
  • Work with architects, consultants, and vendors to build and implement solutions.
  • Act as a resource for project work and network improvements.
