Simnet, a hosted private cloud company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Analyst to join our team. As a Network Analyst Level II, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the network infrastructure.

Salary Range : 70-90K

Responsibilities :

  1. Monitor network performance and availability, ensuring uptime and performance levels meet or exceed SLAs
  2. Troubleshoot network issues and provide resolutions to network-related problems
  3. Configure and maintain network devices, switches, and firewalls
  4. Maintain network firewall security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
  5. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues
  6. Respond to customer inquiries and provide support for network-related issues
  7. Document network configurations and changes to ensure accuracy and maintain an up-to-date inventory of network devices
  8. Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions, including network design, VLAN management, routing and switching, wireless networking, load balancing, and VPN configurations
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve network performance, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Strong technical skills in FortiGate configuration, network design, VLAN management, routing and switching, wireless networking, load balancing, VPN configuration, and security compliance
  • Fortinet NSE certification is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong soft skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in network operations and maintenance or a similar role
