We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, Python scripting, and advanced SQL querying. Experience in the financial domain and familiarity with testing frameworks and multiple IDEs will be considered a plus.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD 110K - CAD 120K/year benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications to meet business requirements.
  • Write efficient and complex SQL queries, including stored procedures, views, triggers, scripts, and cursors.
  • Integrate Python scripting where necessary to automate tasks or enhance functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, debug issues, and optimize performance.
  • Maintain documentation related to development and troubleshooting processes.
  • Ensure applications adhere to security and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in .NET development (C# or VB.NET)
  • Hands-on experience with Python scripting
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including stored procedures, views, triggers, scripts, and cursors
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit
  • Familiarity with various Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio, Rider, etc.
  • Prior experience working within the financial services or banking domain
