Job summary

Open Systems Technologies is seeking a developer to design, build, and support modules for a Financial Calculation Engine. You will work with .NET, Angular, Node.js, and SQL Server, producing well-documented code and release materials.

Collaboration with BA/QA teams and stakeholders will be key to delivering data-driven solutions. The role emphasizes SDLC discipline, CI/CD proficiency, and a basic understanding of the financial industry.

Qualifications

• Experience across SDLC: analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Some understanding of financial industry is a plus.

Job description

This role will be focused on development and support of modules for Financial Calculation Engine, so basic financial knowledge is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & develop solutions using .NET, Angular, Node.js, SQL Server and related technologies.
• Produce well commented high quality code. Technical & Release documents.
• Interaction with team lead and/or BA to understand the business requirements.
• Provide technical walk-throughs to various stake holders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc.)
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and work through data related inquiries and issues.
• Be able to work independently as well as within a team

Knowledge/Experience:

• Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation (all phases of software development life cycle - SDLC)
• Knowledge and experience using Ci/CD tools.
• Some understanding of financial industry is an asset.
• Excellent functional, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
