Job summary

Satincorp is hiring a .NET developer in Canada to design, develop, and implement the Grain Freight module. You will build WinForms interfaces, enhance UI with Infragistics components, and implement data access with ADO.NET and ASP.NET.

You will collaborate with clients to gather requirements, design solutions, optimize SQL databases, write stored procedures and triggers, and participate in unit testing and code reviews. TFS is used for source control in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing WinForms and WPF apps using C#
• Strong C#/.NET skills with ASP.NET experience
• Experience with ADO.NET for DB communication
• UI design using Infragistics or similar UI libraries
• SQL database design, queries and stored procedures

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Grain Freight module
• Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and translate into specs
• Design solutions and implement data-driven features
• Develop UI in WinForms and WPF; integrate Infragistics UI elements
• Use ADO.NET and ASP.NET to access and display data; write stored procedures/triggers
• Collaborate with DB team to optimize schema and performance
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews
• Use Team Foundation Server for version control in a team environment

Understanding the requirement and designing the solution.

Design and Develop Winforms using C#.

Integrate Infragistics in UI layer for powerful UI.

Use ADO .NET objects for communicating with database for retrieving and storing new information

Developed different User controls using WPF which inputs the data and display the data using ASP.NET.

Worked with the database team to design the database in its most optimal form using various normalization techniques.

Write stored procedures and triggers.

Involve in Unit Testing.

Use Team Foundation Server for Version Control in team environment
