We are looking for a .NET Developer. This role is based in our Markham, Ontario offices conveniently located near Highway 404 & 407. We are focused on team participation and commit to working a Full-Time schedule in our Markham office.

Who We Need:

A .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and scalable projects.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust software applications using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
  2. Database Architecture: Design and implement efficient and secure database structures, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases is crucial.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  4. Full Lifecycle Ownership: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  5. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects and technical issues to maintain application stability and performance.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in software development technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices. Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and practices.

What You’ll Need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
  2. Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience as a software developer.
  3. Technical Proficiency:
    1. Strong knowledge of .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks.
    2. Solid understanding and experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
    3. Strong experience in database design and development primarily with SQL Server, or any other relational database systems.
  4. Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, emphasizing collaboration, iteration, and continuous delivery.
  5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
  6. Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Bonus/Nice to have:

  1. Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices.
  2. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit, with a good understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and mocking techniques.
