A leading French Canadian IT Service Provider is looking for an experienced NERC Expert for a long-term contract. This role offers flexibility, with part of the work performed remotely and key responsibilities focused on NERC compliance and cybersecurity. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of NERC CIP standards and previous management experience in Networking and Telecom.

Responsibilities

• Validate quality assurance evidence from various NERC CIPs.
• Ensure implementation of cybersecurity audit strategies.
• Influence company strategies in cybersecurity controls.
• Manage governance and compliance of the 6 CIP standards.

Skills

A Leading French Canadian IT Service Provider is seeking an experienced NERC Expert for a long-term contract with one of their governmental clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of NERC and has managed NERC Compliance for a number of Networking and Telecom solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering flexibility with 1 day a week expected in the Montreal office, and 4 days will be spent working remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of all activities related to the validation (quality assurance) of evidence from the various NERC CIPs;
• Meet audit strategies, ensuring implementation in the area of ??cybersecurity and monitoring action plans
• Act as an expert in the fields of activity (Network - Telecom - Governance -NERC), influence and guide major decisions and the company's business strategies and its cybersecurity controls;
• Implement and manage the governance and compliance of the 6 CIP standards.

Skills/Must have:

• Expert knowledge of NERC CIP standards - CIP-004, CIP-007, CIP-009, CIP-010, VIP-011, CIP-012 and CIP-013
• Experience with managing Networking and Telecom compliance with NERC standards
• Quality Assurance experience
• French speaking is a must

Salary:

• Up to $60ph
