Our Village at Tansley Woods, located in Burlington, ON, is seeking a Neighbourhood Coordinator to join our village leadership team.

As a Neighbourhood Coordinator, you will:

  • Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and lead your team to deliver the highest quality of care to residents.
  • Lead, empower, and support self-directed neighbourhood team members to provide resident-centered care focusing on flexible living and quality of life.
  • Leverage your strengths, skills, and knowledge to fulfill our mission and achieve quality care outcomes.
  • Foster relationships with team members, residents, families, and the community, demonstrating serving leadership.
  • Coach and lead team performance, including HR, health and safety, and communication aspects.
  • Lead care conferences with residents and families, serving as a primary contact for residents and families.

To be successful as our Neighbourhood Coordinator, you will:

  • Hold a Certificate or Diploma from a recognized institution in a related field or have equivalent leadership experience.
  • Respect the rights and dignity of residents, families, team members, and visitors, addressing requests professionally and with care.

Assets include:

  • Previous leadership experience in a Senior Living environment.
  • Knowledge of the Long-Term Care Act, Retirement Home Regulatory Authority standards, and the Resident Bill of Rights.
