Job description

Position Summary

TriQuest NDT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America to the Oil & Gas industry, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Power Generation, In-Service Piping, and Above Ground Storage Tanks.

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time CGSB Certified NDT Technicians to support our Operations in Edmonton, with additional project support throughout Alberta.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and calibrate testing equipment.
  2. Conduct tests on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection task being performed.
  3. Evaluate results according to specifications and standards.
  4. Assist with various other inspection tasks.
  5. Organize and report test results.
  6. Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Ultrasonic Testing UTI CGSB Certification.
  2. Magnetic Particle Testing MTII CGSB Certification.
  3. Liquid Penetrant Testing PTII CGSB Certification.
  4. Reside locally to the Edmonton, AB or willing to relocate.
  5. Preference for facility, pipeline and weld inspection (structural and pressure).
  6. Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
  7. Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
  8. Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
  9. Willing to learn and assist in various inspection techniques.
  10. Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
  11. Able to work well within a team environment.
  12. Able to lift 50 pounds.
  13. Able to work long hours and weekends away from home base.
  14. Willingness to travel throughout Canada to complete inspection projects.
