NDT Technician will specialize in UT and MT methods. Junior Technician, Technician, and Senior Technician positions available.

Skills/Effort Requirements

1. CGSB/ISO certification UT1 & MT2 is preferred
2. CGSB/ISO certification UT2 & MT2 is a plus
3. Other NDT certifications may also be considered
4. This is a salaried position (40 hrs. /week) with competitive pay and benefits
5. This role involves working with automated UT (immersion) systems and manual horizontal wet bench MT in a factory setting, adhering to NAS410 Aerospace standards.
6. Minimum requirements for NAS410 qualification:
1. Over 800 documented (verifiable) experience hours in the UT method
2. At least 80 hours formal NDT training in the UT method (with a course certificate)
3. Over 530 documented (verifiable) experience hours in the MT method
4. At least 40 hours formal NDT training in the MT method (with course certificate)
7. Passing the NAS410 qualification and periodic proficiency exams as a condition of employment.

Your Strengths

1. Possess the skills and knowledge required to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document findings
2. Have a solid understanding of the application and limitations of the NDT methods
3. Maintain professional certifications
4. Be physically capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining focus on the task.
5. Work with minimal supervision while upholding the highest level of professional ethics.
6. Effectively manage time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
7. Reliably get themselves to and from work in Ingersoll, Ontario
8. Accommodate a rotating three-shift schedule
