Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineer to support naval platforms design, analysis, and integration in a defense environment in Montreal, QC. You will develop drawings and test procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and compliance with customer specs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 2–3 years in naval/aerospace/defense, bilingual in French and English, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate interpersonal and team work skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and equipment for the control of naval platforms.
• Develop Manufacturing Drawings for naval equipment.
• Prepare and perform test procedures for procured and designed equipment.
• Review customer documentation of ship systems including propulsion, electrical, auxiliary, and damage control systems.
• Manage obsolescence to support in-service programs.
• Participate in internal and external meetings regarding interface between ship systems and the control system.
