Job summary

Ultra Maritime in Nova Scotia is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary team developing advanced electronics for naval platforms. You will design, build, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, perform site inspections, and prepare technical drawings and reports.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, eligibility for a Canadian security clearance, and willingness to travel across Canada, the US, and overseas.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Ability to work on Canadian Controlled Goods and US ITAR controlled articles.
  • Candidate must be capable of acquiring a NATO Reliability and Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada, US and Overseas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to engineers to ensure timely completion of project designs.
  • Develop new and innovative electronics solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Assist in design, development, build, and testing of electrical systems and components.
  • Prepare and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications; conduct site inspections and ensure safety compliance.
