Qualifications

We are actively seeking a Naval Architecture Technician to take part in the various stages of ship repair in collaboration with the different departments.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES :

  1. Analyze tenders, describe the technical aspects of each project, validate feasibility and associated risks (surface calculations, weights, etc.);
  2. Issue technical specifications and perform calculations required to complete projects;
  3. Participate in the work planning;
  4. Operate computer-assisted design and drafting stations;
  5. Issue and update various reports and drawings (as fitted / as built) related to contractual requirements and / or established standards and procedures (miscellaneous dry dock measurements, etc.);
  6. Design the adaptations to be carried out on vessels, on equipment or on work methods to enable the installation of new components;
  7. Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement in all operational departments;
  8. Inspect selected projects to ensure that processes comply with customer specifications and applicable standards;
  9. Participate and support the activities of Health, Safety and Environment Management System.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS :

  1. College degree in Naval Architecture;
  2. One (1) to three (3) years experience in a similar position;
  3. Expertise with AUTOCAD drawing software and good skills with the Microsoft suite;
