Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in Toronto seeks an Investment Analyst for the Natural Resources team. You will support private investments, run financial models, perform due diligence, and help portfolio companies with strategic value creation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic record.
Minimum 2 years in investment banking, principal investing or related advisory.
Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills and ability to present to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

Build and employ financial modelling tools to analyze investment opportunities.
Assist in due diligence and lead valuation workstreams.
Identify value drivers, perform sensitivity and scenario analysis.
Work with external advisors to assess risks and submit bids on tight timelines.
Prepare presentations and investment recommendations for senior management and Board where applicable.
Review financials, budgets and reports from portfolio companies.
Build financial models with portfolio company management for strategic issues.
Support internal strategic initiatives and annual valuations.
