Responsibilities include:
- Developing, initiating, and implementing standardized best practices for hydraulic and MRL elevator systems.
- Manually assembling, installing, maintaining, and updating major elevator components, including rails, pit and hoist way equipment, car and counterweight assemblies, and machine room equipment. Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Wiring, installing, maintaining, and updating small elevator components such as roller guides, door tracks, linkages, buttons, and lanterns. Requires color perception for wiring and components.
- Monitoring and analyzing the functioning of motion or operation controls to troubleshoot and adjust systems.
- Ensuring safety standards are met to protect health and welfare.
- Responding to trouble calls and callbacks related to Hydros, Evo, and EOX systems.
- Working at heights requiring good balance.
- Standardizing best practices for management, installation, and efficiency improvements, coordinating across management levels.
- Fostering a safety culture and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Implementing strategic operational initiatives to improve labor efficiency and quality.
- Leading operations and developing synergies between field and factory teams.
- Serving as a liaison between Canadian field and factory to optimize quality and efficiency.
- Monitoring performance to meet or exceed goals.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- IUEC card and mechanic's license or equivalent.
- Knowledge of TK Elevator equipment and experience in mentorship and training.
- Minimum 10 years in the industry with supervisory experience.
- Experience with new installation product lines.
- Strong safety leadership.
- Ability to understand complex instructions, communicate effectively, and organize multiple projects.
- High concentration and attention, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks and perform administrative duties.
- Physical requirements include walking, standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and travel across Canada.
