The Opportunity:

The National Trainer, Clinical Solutions is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge and behaviors of team members working within our Clinical Solutions division. This includes all new hire training, program launches, and other identified training opportunities.

The National Trainer, Clinical Solutions will work closely with the Clinic Solutions leadership team and other strategic partners to develop and deliver training that helps drive positive business outcomes.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Complete needs analysis to determine gaps in onboarding
  • Design and develop engaging and meaningful training materials (learning modules, user guides, job aids, facilitator guides, etc.) and deliver learning programs in various formats such as eLearning, ILT, VILT, and blended learning to meet business needs that align with best practices and training trends to maximize engagement and learning retention.
  • Facilitate training sessions (in person and virtually) that enhance the Clinic Solutions workforce skillset, knowledge and performance
  • Partner with business to determine benchmarks for evaluation, ensuring onboarding completed successfully for all incumbents
  • Complete evaluations (level 1 – level 3) to identify areas of focus and on-going success.
  • Provide feedback to managers on new hire performance.
  • Utilize the LMS to create appropriate learning paths
  • Work within tight timelines to provide valuable input on projects that enhance the onboarding and training process in addition to operational requirements
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gain in-depth understanding of the content and knowledge to be transferred to the targeted audience.
  • Remain in a continuous state of improvement by consistently auditing the learning content to ensure it remains relevant and engaging.
  • Prepare training schedules in conjunction with clinic solutions and the Learning Team
  • Act as a liaison and provide ongoing feedback to the Directors of Clinic Solutions as it pertains to quality of services, current process training, and other areas of importance.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities to meet established deadlines demonstrating organizational savvy and consistent quality work/project results.
  • Optimize training processes/methodologies for efficiency (ADDIE, SAM, Change Management, etc.)
  • Provide additional support with other duties or projects as requested by management.

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Adult Education or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design & development of learning programs
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • eLearning development is an asset
  • Experience working with LMS is an asset
  • 1-3 years of experience working in Patient Support Programs, clinic setting is preferred
  • Advanced ability to learn and understand new systems and software quickly.
  • Proven experience collaborating successfully with leaders and/or stakeholders in other disciplines within a cross-functional organization
  • Effective organizational skills; excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills including interpretation of regulation and legislation.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with management and associates and/or other Subject Matter Experts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading/editing and quality assurance.
  • Strong ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize projects.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Bilingual (French and English) will be considered an asset.
