Position Overview:

We are seeking a National Sales Manager, Distribution - Deposits. Reporting to the Head of 3rd Party Distribution, this role supports the GIC business at CTC by developing relationships with deposit brokers and achieving business goals. The role focuses on portfolio growth, profitability, and operational excellence within a results-driven, competitive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with GIC brokers, dealers, investment advisors, and commercial clients, providing exceptional service.
  2. Business Growth: Identify and develop opportunities to expand the GIC deposit base through outreach and value propositions.
  3. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, broker activity, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.
  4. Communication and Training: Conduct presentations and training sessions to support broker knowledge and promotion of offerings.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Track metrics such as engagement, pipeline growth, and broker feedback to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (treasury, operations, marketing, product) to support brokers and advocate for their needs.
  7. Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and network expansion.
  8. Compliance: Adhere to company policies and risk controls.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of deposit-related experience, with market trend knowledge
  • Post-secondary education
  • Proven ability to grow business and exceed sales targets
  • Solid understanding of deposit types and risks
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace and research tools
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and solve problems while meeting targets
  • Self-motivated, positive, creative team player with integrity
