Position Summary

We are looking for a National Key Account Manager working remote in the field based out of Toronto, Ontario reporting into the Manager B2B National Accounts. This role will be responsible for building the National Key Account channel strategy and drive sustainable sales with new and existing customers across Canada.

A day in the life of a National Key Account Manager

As a National Key Account Manager, you will be working on ensuring aggressive National Key Account channel growth through Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés (HORECA) and Office Channels. You will be responsible for accounts across Canada seeking high visibility and Net Sales (NNS) contribution within large key accounts.

You will also : Operations :

  • Develop and drive the National HORECA and Office Key Account strategy.
  • Identify key account opportunities across various size clusters (small, medium, large) and regions.
  • Align Master Service Agreement (MSA) objectives with P&L validation in collaboration with the Manager B2B National Accounts and finance controller.
  • Establish annual plans with targets for customer acquisition and retention while you leverage market insights to create competitive advantages.
  • Prospect and assess potential new national strategic accounts with the Account Manager team.
  • Provide regular updates on sales and key performance indicators.

Maintain Relationship with National Key Accounts :

  • Foster positive relationships with national accounts and existing customers to ensure strategic consistency and availability of machine models.
  • Collaborate with Marketing (CRM) and CRC functions to uphold high customer service standards.
  • Execute a comprehensive customer plan to drive business growth.
  • Work with Account Managers to finalize B2B sales strategies and establish annual sales targets, including volume and P&L reporting.
  • Coordinate promotional activities with buying offices and marketing teams, facilitating local initiatives.
  • Market Insight :

  • Analyze the HORECA and Office market landscape, identifying potential trends.
  • Develop insights on key customers and regional specifications using market analytical tools, sharing findings with HQ and internal stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in interpreting and analyzing a Profit and Loss (P&L) model, coupled with a strong capacity for creativity and the development of innovative solutions
  • Post secondary education in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI is an asset
  • Valid full driver’s license with a safe driving record is required while being open to travel
