The Head Start program offers acceptance into the Year 1 Formation Program and allows successful candidates to begin employment with CCO four months prior to the program start.

This is an excellent opportunity for students graduating in the Fall semester. Your skills, gifts, and strengths will be utilized in executing the necessary national aspects of our movement. Receive world-class training in evangelization and intentional accompaniment, working directly as part of a dynamic team of missionaries at one of our National Headquarters departments:

• Human Resources
• Finance and Properties
• Stewardship and Development

• Missions
• Media and Marketing

After completing the formation year, you may be invited to continue as a CCO Missionary with a 2-year contract.

Employment begins at the end of December. From September to December, Head Start employees will receive training and support in raising the necessary funds for their first four months of employment. The Formation Program starts on May 1st with our New Hire Orientation. The following summer months focus on initial training and Support Team Partnership Development (MPD).

ADDITIONAL INFO

• Head Start National HQ Missionaries work in person at CCO's National Headquarters Office in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
• They receive a monthly salary equivalent to the minimum wage of the province of employment, based on a 40-hour work week. Salaries increase with experience.
• Participants actively engage in the mission of the New Evangelization, leading faith studies, sharing the kerygma (e.g., through the Ultimate Relationship booklet), and participating in evangelization efforts of CCO.

One must be an Employment Reference.

• Two must be Character References; one should be a CCO Missionary, and the other must attest to your character and cannot be a family member.
