Job summary

Keolis Canada is seeking a Driver Development Manager to govern and advance driver training and performance across Canada. The role combines national ownership with hands-on classroom and field instruction, supporting leaders, HR partners, and safety teams while ensuring training standards across divisions.

The position emphasizes safety, customer experience, and workforce development, with regular travel to support operations and instructor networks across Canada.

Qualifications

• Advanced education in Adult Instruction for Transportation, Safety, Training, Fleet Operations, or related discipline.
• 2) Equivalent industry experience in passenger transportation and driver instruction.
• 3) Clean commercial driver's abstract.
• 4) Certification: Commercial driver instructor or train-the-trainer (Senior) mandatory.
• 5) Defensive driving instructor certification (asset).

Responsibilities

• Govern and develop a standardized national driver development framework and standards.
• Deliver classroom, practical, and behind-the-wheel instruction for Class 2/B operators.
• Support onboarding, refresher training, and return-to-driving requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, HR, safety, and field teams to align training with contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Enhance training using data like collision trends, audits, and customer feedback.
• Lead instructor development and provide national governance to instructors across regions.
