Position Summary :
Recruit, hire, train, and manage collegiate ambassadors involved with the collegiate program. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the collegiate program within their designated territory. Supervise and work with employees on Consumer Engagement Teams during event execution.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform duties personally and through Consumer Engagement Team Leaders and Regional Sales Managers. Recruit and hire diverse, socially influential college students to serve as members of the Collegiate Ambassador Team (CAT), emphasizing students who are social leaders capable of promoting the portfolio of brands.
- Train students to use their social influence to positively promote the brand as part of college culture, making the brand an integral part of student life and promoting brand awareness naturally.
- Complete, process, and file independent contractor paperwork for new students joining the collegiate program.
- Place product and point-of-sale (POS) orders for events and collegiate programs into welcome packages and mail them to each college ambassador.
- Manage student ambassadors across various universities nationwide. Coordinate with Consumer Engagement Teams to ensure successful and timely product deliveries for students and events.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute college events such as sports tailgate parties, Greek Fest, Pan-Hellenic rush weeks, college fest, dorm events, finals week, collegiate club sponsorships, intramural sports, spring break activities, fraternity/sorority conventions, and other college community events.
- Ensure all college ambassadors meet report deadlines for campus events. Review and approve all reports through the online CAT Portal. Manage CAT profiles and POS inventory via the portal.
- Communicate with external event production companies and marketing agencies, including Xtreme Trips, Student City, Passion Group, and Inertia Tours, for upcoming events.
- Create and conduct marketing surveys for graduating college ambassadors to evaluate and improve the program.
- Communicate CAT and Collegiate Coordinator activities to sales teams through event recaps and monthly newsletters. Submit timely CAT payments and reimbursements to ensure accurate and prompt payments to collegiate participants.
Job Specifications :
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in writing blogs, newsletters, or product reviews.
- At least 1 year of experience in event marketing.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and expense management skills. Ability to work professionally from home. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Base Salary Range : CAD $59,625 - CAD $79,500 annually.
