About the Role

As a National Channel Manager at Wellmore, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, achieving monthly sales targets, and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers on a national scope for our Costco and Walmart channels. We seek candidates with strong leadership, negotiation, forecasting skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets within retail.

What You'll Do

  • Meet or over-deliver forecast targets
  • Develop and implement channel-specific joint-business plans aligned with corporate and customer goals
  • Create and execute ROI-based promotions and product launch plans
  • Ensure marketplace pricing adherence and follow recommended pricing guidelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted business partner
  • Attend trade shows and national meetings as required
  • Forecast sales accurately and provide updates to internal teams
  • Manage trade spend budgets effectively to meet sales targets
  • Foster cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain
  • Develop relationships in the C&G channel, regional operators, and distributor networks
  • Navigate foodservice buyers and high-volume vending / wholesale accounts
  • Tailor RTD execution by channel and customer vertical

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business preferred (equivalent experience considered)
  • 4+ years of CPG sales experience
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical skills with experience in data platforms like IRI, Nielsen, Dunnhumby
  • Experience in ROI modeling and business case development
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategic plans
  • 5-7 years of national account management experience
  • Track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals
  • Advanced analytical skills using IRI / Nielsen data
  • Strategic, creative, and independent thinker
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Passionate about the brand and culture
  • Ownership mentality and accountability
