Job description

Lysander Funds is an independent Investment Fund Manager headquartered in Toronto with regional offices in Montreal. We offer investment products to investment and mutual fund advisors and their clients, aiming to help investors reach their long-term financial goals. We are seeking a dynamic individual with product and relationship-building skills, eager to learn about the National Accounts and Retail Institutional Business. This role reports to the Vice President, National Accounts, and provides an opportunity to learn from senior team members, leveraging Lysander's strong product lineup to expand and deepen relationships with Canada's largest financial institutions.

This full-time position is based in our Toronto office.

Role

The successful candidate will support the National Accounts Team by servicing existing head office relationships and identifying new opportunities. Additionally, this role will collaborate with Lysander's Partner Portfolio Managers, the Sales Team, and may eventually take ownership of select Dealer Head Office relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage reporting requirements of Dealer Platforms and Recommended Lists
  • Maintain an informational database of Dealer Head Office Partners
  • Support Lysander's National Accounts Team
  • Develop and support dealer-specific sales and product strategies
  • Identify and pursue Dealer Platform opportunities
  • Help identify synergies between Lysander Funds and its Dealer Partners
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of industry experience
  • Familiarity with broad financial industry trends and the ability to formulate a proprietary view
  • Comfort with developing long-term business relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in an open, collaborative environment
  • Eagerness to learn
