CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Machine Learning Researcher - Narratologist to join our R&D Team in Canada. You will explore computational narratology and push the boundaries of narrative analysis for game development.

The role involves building ML systems, advancing NLP models, and deploying results in demos, with hybrid/in-office or remote options and extensive health and wellbeing perks.

Qualifications

• Sophisticated experimental NLP background from either academia or industry.
• 5+ years of programming experience.
• Fluent in Python and C++ (or Unreal C++).

Responsibilities

• Architect and build ML systems for complex narrative analysis.
• Improve NLP models and design/integrate new models.
• Leverage cloud infrastructure for training and serving.
• Stay updated on SOTA topics in narratology.
• Present results internally and at conferences if needed.
• Optimize ML systems for cost, latency and quality.
• Help deploy results in demos.
