Job Posting: A warm and supportive part-time live-out nanny is sought in Campbell River, British Columbia. Responsibilities
  • Care for an 18-month-old daughter who enjoys the outdoors, insects, and playgrounds (mainly swings).
  • Support communication with the child; she is verbal and will indicate thirst, hunger (including preferred snacks), and preferred activities (e.g., swing, slide, build) once she warms to you.
  • Engage her in play and activities; she tends to be easy-going when engaged.
  • Currently night-weaning; the child goes most days without breastfeeding.
  • Care should be kept close to home in the early stages, with outings to be considered as trust and comfort grow (e.g., StrongStart or Family Place) as mutually agreed.
