Overview

We’re a warm, respectful family in Etobicoke seeking a part-time, live-out nanny to help care for our 1.5 year old son and support with household duties. The role will begin in end of September and transition to full-time in October when mom returns to work (2 / 5 days in office).

About the Role

• Hours: ~5 days / week (approx. 6–7 hrs / day), with a potential half-day on Fridays. $19-23 / hr depending on experience
• Start: end of September 2025 (part-time), moving to full-time in October
• Location: Etobicoke, ON (Edenbridge area – accessible by transit)
• Childcare Responsibilities (55%): Primary care of our happy and active 1.5 year old son; follow structured sleep, feeding, and activity schedule; prepare meals / snacks (mostly organic; we’ll guide you); support developmental play and safe outdoor time; daily bath before bedtime (we do bedtime)
• Household Support: Cleaning (30%); Cooking (10%): Simple family meals with guidance; Elder Support (5%): Occasional walks or light meal prep for elderly family member
• Must-Haves: Experience caring for babies / toddlers; strong English communication; reliability, cleanliness, and a proactive attitude; comfortable with structured routines and food preferences
