Job description

Terms of Employment: Full-time (30-35 hours per week)

Hourly Wage: $20 per hour

About: Looking for a nanny to take care for young children of various ages (infant to pre-adolescent). Candidate must have flexible availability (working overnight and early mornings, depending on needs).

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Location of Employment :Employer’s home (No remote working options available)

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; college diploma is preferred, but not a must.
  • Work experience as a nanny
  • Experience caring for children of various ages
  • Experience working with children with special needs such as autism
  • Certificate and qualifications related to childcare is an asset
  • No Criminal and medical issues
  • Exceptional patience and ability to remain calm at all times.
  • Fun and enthusiastic attitude
  • Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and standing

Responsibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and responsible care for children.
  • Treat each child with kindness and compassion.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and secure environment.
  • Prepare nutritious meals for the children and encourage them to explore new foods.
  • Communicate with parents as needed to address concerns or provide updates.
  • Transport children to and from school safely as required.
  • Assist with light cleaning and sanitizing tasks as required.
  • Engage children in enriching, educational activities such as games and outings.
  • Offer opportunities for children to learn and develop skills appropriate for their age.
  • Support the emotional well-being of the children.
  • Follow caregiving practices in accordance with the parents' preferences
