Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a detail-oriented technician to create serialized plates for our products. You will enter data into our computer systems, select correct files, and maintain material stock while ensuring quality nameplates are printed accurately.

The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong teamwork, and excellent English communication. The position supports an afternoon shift (3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) on site.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school education required; college preferred.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a serialization nameplate environment.
  • Mechanical pump manufacturing background is an asset.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and computer literate.
  • Able to prioritize work and produce timely documentation packages.

Responsibilities

  • Create serialized plates to be installed on products.
  • Enter detail data into a computer-based program.

  • Maintain stock levels of materials required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and clean equipment.
  • Print quality nameplates, labels, and prints.

This role is responsible for creating serialized plates that will be installed on our products. This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and the scheduled afternoon shift is from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The key accountabilities of this position are:

Responsibilities
  • Creating serialized plates that will be installed on product.
  • Entering detail data into a computer-based program.
  • Selecting the correct files and format
  • Maintain Stock levels of materials required.
  • Preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Printing quality nameplates, labels, and prints
  • Preparing job documentation packages for Manufacturing orders
Role Requirements
  • Minimum High School education required; some collage preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a serialization name plate environment preferred.
  • Mechanical Pump manufacturing background is considered an asset.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team.
  • Must have high level comprehension of English both written and oral.
  • Requires someone to be technically detailed oriented, very organized, computer literate.
  • Able to prioritize work and assignments to produce effective and timely completion of Job documentation packages.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures)
  • Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations.
  • Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
  • Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
  • Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.

Range: CAD$18.50 - CAD$20.00
