A leading community-based response service in Winnipeg seeks a Team Lead for the Nagijeung Abinoojiik Project. This role involves managing and supervising a program aimed at supporting Indigenous families. The ideal candidate will have strong community development skills and experience working with the Indigenous community in Winnipeg.
The Nagijeung Abinoojiik Project is a 24-hour, Indigenous-led, community-based response service for inner-city families and community care providers in Winnipeg who need assistance to keep children and youth safe. Our community-based responses support families and caregivers through value-based and strength-based approaches that minimize the involvement of formal systems.
The Nagijeung Abinoojiik Team Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, management, and supervision of Nagijeung Abinoojiik. The Team Lead assumes all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Centre's philosophy, direction, and policy standards, aligned with the goals, objectives, and priorities of the Nagijeung Abinoojiik Program. Proficient program development skills and experience are required.
