Family Nurse Practitioner - (BC - Virtual) - TELUS Health MyCare

Remuneration: $90-100 per hour

As a TELUS Health MyCare Family Nurse Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide video-based primary care consultations for patients with both episodic and longer-term needs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, clinically diverse environment within a shared model of primary care.
  • Practice to full scope by assessing, diagnosing, and treating episodic and chronic conditions while supporting patients through their healthcare journey.
  • Review laboratory and imaging results to ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
  • Work with our Medical Directors and physicians to support clinical quality and governance.
  • Support patients with complex needs.
  • Provide clinical support and direction as needed to the Clinical Operations Team.
  • Optional: For those who wish to combine virtual and in-person care, we also have part-time hours available in clinics in Vancouver and Victoria for patients triaged to clinic from our episodic virtual service.

What do you need to apply?

  • Registered with the BCCNP with a background in family/primary care.
  • Registrant Type and Class: Current - Practicing NP.
  • Nurse practitioner category: Family.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge and experience in primary care.
  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a positive and results-focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and patients.
  • Comfortable with mobile technology (video calling), or the ability and desire to learn!
  • Be able to commit to a minimum of 6 hours per week.
