Algonquin Outfitters is actively seeking a Ski/Snowboard Technician to join our team at the Huntsville Location! As one of AO’s technicians, you’ll play a key role in making sure our customers have the best possible experience when they hit the slopes and trails.

Here are a few things you will do in this job:

  • Equipment Service – diagnose, tune, wax, and repair skis and snowboards, and service snowshoes.
  • Setup – fit and mount equipment for customers with accuracy and care.
  • Problem Solving – evaluate equipment issues and provide solutions that meet AO’s quality standards.
  • Customer Service – provide sound advice, guidance, and friendly support to help customers maximize their enjoyment.
  • Teamwork – contribute to an exceptional shop environment and share your enthusiasm for winter sports.

What will you bring to us?

  • Experience with ski/board tuning, repair, and setup (the more, the better!).
  • Confidence in your technical skills and ability to troubleshoot.
  • A genuine passion for winter outdoor adventure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills—you’re as comfortable with people as you are with tools.
  • A reliable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude.
