Job summary

Rockstar Music Central is hiring Music Teachers in West Vancouver, BC, offering private, one-on-one in-home and online lessons. A reliable vehicle is required for travel between lessons, with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

In addition to competitive pay, permanent staff receive group health and dental benefits and access to world-class programming resources. Applicants should be reliable, patient, and enjoy working with children, able to work independently, and capable of teaching

Qualifications

• A reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons (No public transit or bikes).
• Reliable, patient, open-minded and enjoy working with children.
• Able to work independently with limited to no supervision.
• Able to teach technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging manner.

Responsibilities

• Encourage the joy of making music.
• Help students develop the discipline and commitment required for success.
• Make learning as fun as making music itself.
• Build a strong relationship with the students to better help them succeed.
• Give brief feedback to parents at the end of every lesson.
