Role Description

This is a contract role for a Music Teacher at Canada Music Academy. The Music Teacher will be responsible for providing music lessons, planning and preparing instructional materials, and monitoring student progress. Lessons will focus on music education, music performance, and encouraging a positive, welcoming space. The role can be hybrid, requiring some in-person teaching in Brockville or Ottawa, ON, while allowing some work from home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Music or Music Education
• Strong ability to engage and inspire students of all ages and backgrounds
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with RCM exam preparation is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Flexible and adaptive teaching methods to suit individual student needs
