Job Title: Murex FO Support Consultant

What you will be doing:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level Front Office and Risk production system support on Murex 3.1 instance.
- Work on a variety of Murex system implementation, configuration and developments in various aspects of Murex including pre-trade, RTBS and MDCS, simulations, pricing, static data and GOM setup.
- Coordinate and communicate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document and verify requirements.
- Analyse and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
- Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
- Perform technical reviews of production changes.
- Write clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence.
- Deal directly with business users across the bank including front, middle and back office, finance, product control and risk to analyse and diagnose business critical issues.
- Analyse and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, fixings and reporting.
- Provide detailed information about issues to the vendor, and coordinate with them in testing fixes/solutions.
- Act as an intermediary between business and vendor.
What you must have:
- Minimum 8 years Murex FO experience.
- Experience working in the financial industry with relevant experience in business analysis and project implementation.
- Background in the following business areas: FO Modules of Murex.
- E-Tradepad, Simulation, Viewers, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills accompanied with excellent communication.
- The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience for a minimum of 8 years.
- Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Strong team player with excellent communication & inter-personal skills.
- Strong problem solver who can question and understand proposed solutions and business drivers.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Control-M.
- Knowledge of datamart and running feeders/extractions.
- Market Data management.
- Knowledge in SQL (Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus.
Salary/Rate Range: $150,000 – $200,000
