Job summary

City of Regina seeks a Civil Engineering technologist to perform comprehensive reviews of development from a civil engineering perspective, ensuring compliance with City standards and providing strong customer service to internal and external clients.

The role focuses on servicing agreements, development permits and building permits, reporting to a Senior Engineer, and contributing to team projects while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in Civil Engineering Technologies or related field.
• Minimum two years in water, wastewater, drainage, environment and/or transportation engineering.
• Registration or eligible for Saskatchewan Applied Science Technology and Technicians (SASTT).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering analysis for municipal infrastructure planning and programs.
• Review drawings and plans to ensure compliance with City standards.
• Develop data collection programs related to municipal infrastructure.
• Manage projects and budgets.
• Represent the department in meetings with stakeholders.
