Job summary
Stantec is seeking a drinking water focused process engineer to join our team across London, Waterloo, Toronto, or Stoney Creek offices in Ontario. You will work on municipal drinking water treatment projects, supported by senior staff, performing calculations, design tasks, and field work to deliver safe, compliant facilities.
The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory coordination, and opportunity to grow into a P.Eng.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or related Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for registration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal drinking water infrastructure planning, design, and construction.
- Master's degree or other advanced degree is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Support planning, assessment, and design of municipal drinking water facilities.
- Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and water quality reviews.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to support projects.
- Assist with regulatory approvals under Ontario drinking water regulations.
