Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is hiring a Municipal Drainage Technologist to join our Linear Municipal Infrastructure team in Windsor or Chatham, Ontario. This new role focuses on drainage design for water and stormwater networks, using AutoCAD Civil 3D, with hybrid work options to balance professional and personal commitments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil engineering technology.
• 0-3 years professional work experience in municipal / infrastructure engineering.
• Experience in municipal drainage design standards and the Ontario Drainage Act.

Responsibilities

• Support civil engineering team activities and project managers in municipal drainage projects in Ontario.
• Produce preliminary and detailed designs for infrastructure and stormwater projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop drainage drawings and supporting reports for private and municipal stakeholders.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations and hydrologic models to support design processes.
• Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, municipal authorities, and regulators.
• Attend project team meetings and perform on-site inspections as required.
