Job summary

Nexus Staffing Inc. for a client in Mississauga seeks a Maintenance Helper to support daily upkeep of packaging and production equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, assist the Maintenance Supervisor, and help with line production as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in food industry is asset
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel
• 1 year maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to commute to Mississauga

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor as required
• Prepare simple machinist tasks as needed
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
• Maintain electronic records of maintenance and repairs
