QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BC College of Nurses and Midwives). Additional Requirements for Emergency:
  • Demonstrated ability in arrhythmia interpretation as evidenced by a mark of 75% on the VIHA ECG Challenge exam.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) are assets. Additional Requirements for Critical Care:
  • Minimum 2 years recent Critical Care nursing experience and or an accredited Critical Care course.
  • Demonstrated ability in arrhythmia interpretation as evidenced by a mark of 75% on the VIHA ECG Challenge exam.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) are assets.
