Job Title: Multimedia Producer

Division: Marketing & Digital Growth

PURPOSE SUMMARY

The Multimedia Producer will be a dynamic force within our marketing team, harnessing the power of various media genres and channels to forge connections and stimulate engagement among diverse Canadian audiences. Specializing in video production, graphic design, hi-fi and lo-fi aesthetics, copy, and more, this role involves creating multimedia content that resonates across social media, email, print, and web platforms, aligning with our mission to amplify our digital reach.

Reporting to the Project Manager – Divisional Support, this individual will be an integral part of the Divisional Support team, marrying creativity with strategic insight to drive digital growth and broad-reaching engagement across Canada.

  • Cultivate and produce a diverse array of media content including videos, graphic designs and ensuring adaptability across various platforms like social media, email, print, and the web.
  • Strategize and execute innovative multimedia campaigns that captivate audiences, stimulate interest, and convert into meaningful engagement and supporter growth.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, translating and executing multifaceted concepts and visions into tangible media assets that echo our brand’s voice and message.
  • Stay attuned to the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in multimedia production and digital culture, ensuring our content remains fresh, relevant, and impactful.
  • Uphold brand integrity and consistency across all creations, ensuring alignment with overarching marketing objectives and strategies.
  • Employ SEO best practices, optimizing content for visibility, engagement, and performance analytics across platforms.
  • Participate actively in team and cross-functional collaborations, driving collective success through shared insights, ideas, and feedback.
  • Prepare and deliver final print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in layout, color profiles, bleed, and resolution according to printer specifications.

  • A versatile creator, adept at producing a rich variety of multimedia content, from video to graphic design, on-camera appearances, and beyond.
  • Strong leadership qualities, paired with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, capable of navigating challenges and optimizing resources for impactful multimedia campaigns.
  • Proficiency in a suite of production tools, including Adobe Premier (required), Creative Cloud, Canva, and Figma, among others.
  • A self-starter who thrives in both independent and collaborative settings, embodying a strong sense of initiative and adaptability.

WHAT YOU BRING MATTERS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in multimedia production and content creation.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of multimedia projects and accomplishments.

WORKING CONDITIONS

As such, we will continue placing a strong emphasis on our remote staff experience, and distributed workforce culture, while leaning into a ‘work from anywhere’ reality that prioritizes:

  • Remote-First Employment: All staff who are not in-office essential default to remote work and are classified as Remote Workplace Staff or Telecommuting Workplace Staff depending on their distance to the Compassion building.
  • Digital-First Engagement: Staff Gatherings will continue to prioritize the remote/online experience.
  • Travel and Overtime may be required.
