Job summary

Postmedia is seeking a Multimedia Journalist for The Chronicle Herald in Halifax. You’ll join a fast-paced newsroom to tell stories that matter to people in Halifax, across digital and print platforms.

You will write short and longform pieces and contribute to digital strategies that grow readership. A journalism degree or digital storytelling experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Compensation:

Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.

Base Salary: $42,950.44 to $57,678.40

This is a unionized position subject to the terms and conditions of the collective agreement. The starting salary listed in this job posting is based on the rate outlined in the collective agreement. Offers will be made based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
