Job summary

The University of Ottawa seeks an experienced Multimedia Designer/Engineer for the Cyber Range to lead advanced multimedia production, AV systems operation, and scenario development for training programs. You will design interfaces, manage live events, and ensure reliable technical delivery across software and hardware platforms.

Responsibilities include creating content with Adobe Creative Suite, coordinating simulations, and mentoring team members while collaborating with IT and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Multimedia Design or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or multimedia-focused role.
• Expertise in multimedia production, including advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Design software, and AV systems.
• Programming experience with the ability to develop and maintain custom applications.

Responsibilities

• Multimedia Design and Production: Create and edit multimedia content using professional tools; operate AV equipment for live and recorded events.
• Technical Engineering: Design and customize software and hardware solutions; ensure seamless integration between multimedia, IT, and cybersecurity systems.
• Creative Scenario Design: Lead storyline writing and storyboard development for Cyber Range simulations; ensure realistic and engaging experiences.
